If the answer to the above is yes, then you may be interested in the Sustainability Manager role I am currently recruiting for. The role is with a major utility provider within Jersey that have set ambitious sustainability targets aligning to the island's carbon neutral roadmap. They are looking for an ambitious individual to support and continually improve their sustainability strategy, ensuring implementation and best practice across the company.

Responsibilities of the Sustainability Manager will include:

• Deliver on the short-term sustainability strategy and contributing to the development of the medium-term roadmap towards the 2040 Net Zero target.
• Working closely with senior leaders to ensure continuous progress against Scopes 1-3 targets and the successful delivery of sustainability projects and initiatives.
• Supporting data collection and reporting requirements, including TCFD, and translating insights into actionable objectives across the business.
• Act as the main point of contact for the strategy. Engaging stakeholders across all departments to drive awareness, accountability, and adoption of sustainability best practice.

The successful Sustainability Manager requires:

• Proven sustainability experience, ideally within the utilities, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence and engage effectively.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the drive to deliver measurable sustainability outcomes.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as TCFD and SBTi, with GRI experience advantageous.
