Mechanical Operations Manager

Premier Recruitment Group is partnering with a long established Hard FM provider that is known for delivering quality, efficiency and dependable service across London. They have built a strong reputation by working closely with clients and understanding exactly what great service delivery looks like. With more than 35 years of industry experience behind them, they continue to grow and now need an experienced Mechanical Operations Manager to support a busy pipeline of projects.

This role will suit someone who knows mechanical engineering inside out, especially piping and heating systems, and brings a confident understanding of air conditioning. You will be joining a team that values high standards, smart organisation and clear communication.

What will you own day to day

• Managing engineers against planned maintenance programmes
• Coordinating specialist subcontractors on remedial and upgrade works
• Maintaining strong working relationships with client site managers
• Making sure all health and safety processes are in place and being followed
• Checking workmanship, compliance and quality across all project stages
• Producing progress reports and trackers for internal and client use
• Recording and valuing remedial and additional works

What the client is looking for

• A mechanical trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• A strong mechanical background with piping, heating and AC knowledge
• Confidence using computer based systems and technical documentation
• Clear communication and a commitment to working at a high standard
• A minimum of five years relevant experience
• A full UK driving licence

• A salary between 65000 and 75000 depending on experience
