Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a high-end residential property build in Hampstead. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in valuations, cost management, and package management within the high-spec residential sector. The position begins on a contract basis with a clear opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for the project.

• Lead valuation processes, ensuring accurate monthly valuations and cost tracking.

• Oversee package management, including procurement, tendering, negotiation, and subcontractor management.

• Conduct site visits (2 days per week) to monitor progress, verify works, and assess variations.

• Produce and maintain CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) reports.

• Manage contractual obligations, including variations, claims, and change control.

• Work closely with project managers, design teams, and contractors to ensure the project s financial integrity.

• Maintain strong cost control measures and identify opportunities for value engineering.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high-end residential / luxury residential projects.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with valuations, CVRs, and package management.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.

• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

• Immediately available or able to start at short notice.
