Groundworkers Required - Major Projects Across Scotland
We are recruiting experienced Groundworkers to join various clients for large-scale infrastructure and utility projects across Scotland in 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operatives who are committed to delivering high-quality work in challenging environments.
Role Overview
As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including excavation, drainage, concreting, kerbing, and general site preparation. You will also operate plant machinery and assist with traffic management where required.
Essential Skills & Certifications
Candidates must hold:
- CSCS Card (valid)
- CPCS or NPORS certification for any of the following:
- Dumper
- Roller
- 360 Excavators (Tracked & Wheeled)
- Traffic Marshal
- Telehandler
Additional Advantage:
- SPEN Authorisations (Scottish Power Energy Networks)
- Confined Space Training
- First Aid Certification
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in groundworks and plant operation
- Ability to work away from home in remote areas for extended periods
- Strong commitment to health & safety standards
- Must successfully pass drug and alcohol testing
- Full UK driving licence preferred
