We are seeking a Flow Survey Manager to support our client on various Water Frameworks.The salary for this role is negotiable, depending on experience. Overtime rates and benefits are available.

This engenders diverse and complex requirements, and, as a result, the need to develop flexible and innovative solutions to meet specific needs.

Our client provides a range of services from consultancy, sewer and asset investigations, CCTV pipe inspections, connectivity surveys, large sewerage investigations, infiltration surveys, impermeable area studies, pollution investigations and domestic sewer blockage alarms, as well as flow monitor installation and maintenance.They are also industry leaders in developing Specialist Solutions for completing engineering works, within high risk environments.


About You:

As a key member of the Water Consultancy business, your role as Flow Survey Manager to support is critical in helping deliver projects for Water Industry clients. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Leading teams of technicians, providing overall guidance and structure
  • Installing and maintaining flow survey equipment including flow monitors, rain gauges, and depth monitors.
  • Gathering data from sewer flows during dry weather and wet weather events to help major utility companies plan, design, and implement new drainage systems to alleviate flooding.


Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Flow survey experience is preferred although candidates with a strong drainage background will be considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to complete paperwork accurately and annotate plans.
  • Previous experience in a drainage-related role, coupled with the ability to accurately navigate the drainage network using the GIS mapping provided.
  • Detailed knowledge of public sewer networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and accurate record-keeping capabilities.
  • Demonstrable track record of reliability and flexibility.


Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving licence.


Health and Safety:

This role may involve:

  • Moving heavy items including inspection chamber covers.
  • Working in all weather conditions (this could include night work also).
  • You may be required to work in confined spaces and on highways.
