Our client, a well-established commercial cleaning and security FM contractor, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Cleaning Account Manager to oversee a major blue-chip account across three key sites in the South East and London region. This role has become available due to maternity leave and represents a significant opportunity to step into a high-profile client leadership position within a growing business.
This position will work closely with the Director of Services (South East & London), Chris Ashmore, and plays a vital part in securing and maintaining the company s place on the permanent supply chain.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the cleaning service delivery for a major blue-chip client across three sites, with primary focus on a large corporate office facility supporting 4,000 staff.
Oversee the performance and coordination of approximately 1,000 cleaning operatives across day and night shifts.
Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring exceptional service levels, consistent communication, and prompt resolution of issues.
Deliver and participate in monthly presentations to senior client stakeholders.
Manage and support product trials, innovations, and efficiency initiatives within the building.
Uphold the highest operational standards and ensure full compliance with contractual requirements.
Work closely with internal teams, including HR, operations, and service leads, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Drive continuous improvement, contribute to business growth, and support efforts to maintain long-term client partnership.
Proven experience in the commercial cleaning industry is essential.
Ambitious, energetic, and eager to develop within a fast-growing FM business.
Clear, confident and professional communicator, comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders.
Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage large teams and complex sites.
Experience delivering presentations and participating in high-level meetings.
Exposure to product trials, innovation or technology-led improvements within buildings is highly beneficial.
