Trainee / Junior Electrical Estimator

Location: Orpington, UK
Salary: 30,000 - 45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (or 7:00am - 4:00pm) with a 1-hour break

About the Role:
Dutton Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established electrical contracting company, who are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Trainee or Junior Electrical Estimator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of electrical installations to transition into estimating and build a career in this area.

The Role:
The successful candidate will work full-time from the Orpington office, supporting senior estimators and gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard software including Countfire and Estimation. Full training will be provided for the estimating side of the role - however, a solid grounding in electrical installations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing electrical estimates for projects
• Learn to use Countfire and Estimation software
• Collaborate with the team to gather and verify project information
• Support senior estimators in delivering accurate and timely proposals

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of electrical installations (previous electrical trade experience preferred)
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Willingness to learn and develop as an estimator
• Able to work full-time from the Orpington office
