Exciting brand new position for the first ever Draughtsman role within this busy, established subcontractor business. Company Specialist subcontractor working in the building sector for major contractors throughout the region. Role An experienced Draughtsman is required to work closely with the Operations manager. The role will involve review of drawings to price works and attend meetings at tender stage, to follow with steelwork models, production drawings, plans and details once the work has been won and moves to construction. The company is recruiting this position because they are experiencing greater demand to provide a full design and installation service. Therefore, as the first position of this discipline, the new incumbent will have the opportunity to really make their mark on the business and help grow demand for these services. Experience Required The successful applicant will have experience in this industry, competent in using AutoCAD and with some experience of interrogating 3D models that may come in Revit, Tekla or other software. Remuneration Negotiable, depending on experience.
