Daily Duties
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and working documentation
- Develop construction information in coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, technical standards, and quality requirements
- Assist in the preparation of planning and building control submissions
- Conduct site visits to advise on buildability, detailing, and technical resolution
- Maintain CAD/BIM standards and oversee drawing accuracy and quality control
- Contribute to tender documentation and project handover packages
- Support junior technicians and drafters with guidance and mentoring
Ideal Candidate
- Recognised qualification in Architectural Technology / Technician discipline (HNC/HND or degree)
- Proven experience delivering technical outputs on medium to large-scale projects
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD)
- Several years UK based experience in a Technical role
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, construction detailing, and specification writing
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and solution-focused
- Confident undertaking site visits and translating technical issues into practical solutions
- Collaborative, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality, buildable architecture
