About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to join a dynamic team responsible for managing and maintaining a diverse portfolio of historic and modern properties. This 15-month fixed-term contract offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects within a prestigious academic environment.
You will be responsible for providing expert advice on property management, acquisitions, leases, and development projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting long-term strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and advise on the full lifecycle of property assets, including acquisition, disposal, and leasing.
Undertake valuations, feasibility studies, and project appraisals.
Provide professional guidance on compliance with property legislation and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants on development and refurbishment projects.
Support strategic planning and reporting for the estates portfolio.
About You:
Qualified surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) with relevant experience in estate/property management.
Strong knowledge of property law, lease management, and valuation principles.
Excellent project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
