Estimator Location: Warrington Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 per annum One of our established principal contractors are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator with a strong background in construction, particularly someone experienced in pricing refurbishment, maintenance or social housing projects. Key Responsibilities Preparing accurate and competitive estimates, tenders and quotations. Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules and contract documentation. Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations. Identifying project risks, opportunities and potential cost savings. Working closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure successful tender submissions. Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. About You Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction/refurbishment sector. Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials and subcontractor pricing. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams. Experience with estimating/tendering software is desirable.
