Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of manual tasks across different projects, supporting skilled trades and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and clean-up of sites, ensuring safety and organisation at all times
• Support tradespeople with tasks such as handling hand tools, power tools, and materials
• Carry out general labouring duties including lifting, moving materials, and site clearance
• Assist with specialised tasks such as plastering, masonry, carpentry, or fabrication under supervision
• Support with installation activities involving roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, or construction painting
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment
• Read and interpret schematics or technical drawings as required for specific tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience or familiarity with construction-related activities is advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Willingness to learn new skills across various trades such as masonry, carpentry, or electrical work
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory
