Plumbing & Heating Engineer Andover (Hampshire/Wiltshire)

Are you an experienced and highly skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer looking for a permanent role with a well-established, family-run company? We are seeking a reliable, multi-skilled professional to join the team, working across diverse domestic and commercial contracts throughout Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Package & Benefits

  • Salary: £40,000.00 - £50,000.00 per year

About the Role

As a Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you will report to the Facilities Manager and be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of mechanical systems. Your core duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Repair: Performing complete installations, alterations, and repairs of central heating systems (Gas/Oil), bathrooms, and general plumbing works.

  • System Expertise: Working with Vented and Unvented hot water systems, Underfloor Heating (UFH), and above-ground drainage.

  • Re-piping: Undertaking complete domestic and commercial re-pipes.

  • Maintenance: Carrying out maintenance and servicing on all types of plumbing systems.

  • Specialist Skills: Utilising premium welding expertise for specific mechanical tasks.

  • General Support: Applying basic carpentry and mechanical knowledge to ensure project completion.

What You'll Bring (Required Skills & Qualifications)

  • Minimum 3 years professional plumbing experience
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
  • Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and proven welding experience.
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks.
  • UK Driving License (Required).

Highly Desirable:

  • Relevant certifications in Plumbing and Heating Systems.

  • City & Guilds qualification.

  • Familiarity with basic carpentry principles.
