Plant Fitter

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Residential Groundworks Sector to recruit a Plant Fitter to Join their Production team on a permanent basis. This role will cover areas such as; Yorkshire and Derbyshire

Plant Fitter Roles and Responsibilities

• Inspection, fault finding, maintenance and repair to reported faults on Company plant.
• Reporting on the general condition of faulty plant, including assessment of wear and tear and damage.
• Accurate record-keeping and timely submission of completed Job Cards for all repairs and maintenance carried out including equipment serial numbers, time taken, parts and consumables used.
• Timely submission of weekly timesheets.
• Any other tasks that might reasonably be requested by the Company
• Hybrid work split between site and the yard

Plant Fitter Requirements

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification / post-apprenticeship working as a fitter with groundworks / civil construction or similar heavy duty industrial plant.
• Relevant vocational qualification from a registered educational establishment - for example, City & Guilds Level 2 certificate as an Engineering Fitter or Automotive Mechanic.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence.

Plant Fitter Benefits

• Salary - 26,000 - 55,000 DOE
