Building Services Engineer

Position: Electrical bias Building Services Engineer

Location: Watford

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £38,000 to £41,000 plus package and overtime

We are looking for an Electrical bias Building Services Engineer for a full time, permanent position based on a static site in Watford.

This person will be dealing with the planned and reactive maintenance across a large site. Working with a team of engineers they will be dealing with; Fire Alarm Systems, BMS Systems, HWS Systems, 3 Phase and High Voltage, AHU Maintenance, Pumps, Lighting etc

The right person for this position will already have experience in building services maintenance. They need to be electrically qualified with a City and Guilds and 18th Edition. It would be a major advantage if this person held the test and inspect qualification.

Due to the nature of the site we require this engineer to be able to rotate their shifts (no nights or evenings). They must be willing to do one weekend a month as overtime.

This is a static site, so we do not require a driving licence

Requirements

• Strong background in Building Services Maintenance
• Must be electrically qualified
• Good multi skilled engineering background
• Does need to be able to rotate shifts weekly (no nights or evenings)
• Need to be able to join the overtime rota one weekend in four
• 2391 would be a bonus but not essential

Package

• Basic salary based on a Monday to Friday position
• Overtime rate paid at weekends
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Pension
