Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for your next challenge?

We're seeking a talented individual based near Gatwick to join a well-established electrical construction contractor working across a wide range of commercial, industrial, and public sector projects.

You'll play a key role in the tendering and pre-construction process, breaking down project drawings, specifications, and requirements to produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects ranging from small works (£1K) to major installations up to £5M.

Experience using Primavera P6 for programme analysis and tender planning is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documents to determine electrical requirements.
• Prepare detailed bills of quantities, take-offs, and labour and material costings.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotations.
• Assess project risks, constraints, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
• Support project teams and directors with tender submissions and budget planning.
• Utilise Primavera P6 to support programme development and tender timelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Stay up to date with electrical regulations, materials, and market trends.

Projects You'll Work On

About You

• Based near Gatwick, with flexibility to work across the South East.
• Experienced in both small works and large-scale commercial installations.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and confident interpreting construction programmes.
• Excellent understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and construction sequencing.
• Able to manage workloads and meet tight tender deadlines.
