Job Description

A leading Building Services Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high quality Mechanical and Electrical projects across multiple sectors including Education, Healthcare, MOD, and MOJ. As a Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of all M&E projects from tender through to final account. You will work closely with project teams to ensure financial control, contract compliance, and commercial success across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of M&E projects from inception to completion

  • Prepare and evaluate tenders, cost plans, and variations

  • Undertake valuations and applications for payment

  • Produce detailed financial reports, forecasts, and final accounts

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the internal project team to ensure project objectives are met

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.

  • Support project managers in identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities

About You

  • Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a Building Services or Construction environment

  • Strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical and associated costs

  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
