Senior Planner - London

Location: Euston, London

Rate: £550 per day
Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week (Monday Friday, 08 00)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of major infrastructure works on a high-profile project in central London. This role is ideal for a planning professional with strong civil engineering and utilities experience, capable of driving project performance and maintaining programme integrity across complex construction activities.

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6

• Coordinate planning input across multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met

• Provide accurate progress reporting, forecasting, and analysis to project leadership

• Work closely with site teams to ensure alignment between on-site delivery and programme updates

• Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and delays within the project schedule

• Support the preparation of reports, dashboards, and performance reviews

• Contribute to continuous improvement in planning and project control processes

• Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within a main contractor or sub-contractor environment

• Background in engineering or operations, ideally within infrastructure or utilities (water, wastewater, gas, or electrical)

• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6

• Experience with OPC (Open Project Controls) advantageous

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative project environment

• CSCS Card (can be obtained if not currently held)
