Contract Construction Management Architect and Design

Job Description

Are you an Architectural Technologist with the passion to design the future?

Join a leading construction developer, on a contract basis, to build and develop your ever-growing expertise and abilities. This unmissable role will require the chosen applicant to work on-site from our client's base location near London, where in which you will have the opportunity to design and develop a complex Architectural project, with a focus on large-scale bridge development.

-Competitive hourly rate ranging from 35- 40 (depending on experience).

-On-site working arrangements.

Responsibilities:

-Produce concise architectural drawings, construction documentation, and specifications, ensuring buildability, efficiency, and full compliance with regulations.

-Work alongside multidisciplinary project teams to find solutions for design concerns and challenges, whilst conducting clash detection tests, ensuring project quality.

-Maintain CAD system and BIM model management and analysis, whilst keeping up-to-date documentation, conducting modelling assessments, and ensuring version control.

-Support design development practices, adapting design specifications into constructable conditions, whilst maintaining accuracy throughout.

-Conduct site visits, ensuring that all works align with the project specification, whilst handling project concerns and providing support and guidance during construction.

-Provide sustainable design procedures, with a focus on cost, energy performance, constructability and environmental impacts.

Requirements:

-Qualification in Architectural Technology, Building Technology, or a similar discipline.

-Profound experience as an Architectural Technologist, or a related role, with knowledge of large-scale bridge projects.

-Strong acknowledgment of current building regulations, health and safety policies, statutory requirements and standards.

-Proficient understanding of software tools, such as CAD, BIM, and/or Revit, with an ability to use relevant tools for detailing, modelling, and coordinating designs.

-Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
