Roofing Estimator

Madisons are recruiting for a Flat Roofing Estimator to get started on a permanent basis for a client of ours covering project in and around Eastbourne, East Sussex

Please note previous Roofing Estimating within both the Residential and Commercial sectors is essential for this role

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, our client is seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Estimator to join their expanding pre-construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work with a reputable business that values technical excellence and long-term relationships.

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for flat roofing projects
• Work across both commercial and residential sectors, pricing new-build and refurbishment projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical details
• Produce and submit tenders within deadlines, ensuring all costs are clearly justified
• Offer value-engineering solutions and technical advice where appropriate
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings as required

• Proven experience as a Flat Roofing Estimator (3 Years + Preferred)
• Strong background in both commercial and residential roofing projects
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Effective communicator with strong client-facing abilities
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously
• Excellent technical understanding of flat roofing systems and materials
• Experience using Estimating Software and Microsoft

• £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
• Package Included - Company Vehcile and Fuel Card
• Room for progression
