Site Manager Residential Developments (Scottish Borders)

Salary: £55,000 £65,000 + Car Allowance
Location: Scottish Borders

An established and forward-thinking housebuilder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a new housing development in the Scottish Borders. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee quality residential projects with a pipeline of future work already secured in the region.

The Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all site operations ensuring that homes are built to the highest standards, on time and within budget. You ll manage subcontractors, coordinate materials and trades, and maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead site operations from groundworks to handover

  • Manage build programmes, quality standards, and budgets

  • Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

  • Liaise with clients, technical teams, and local authorities

  • Deliver high-quality homes that reflect attention to detail and craftsmanship

About You:

  • Proven experience managing new-build housing developments

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

  • Committed to maintaining high construction and safety standards
