An established and forward-thinking housebuilder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a new housing development in the Scottish Borders. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee quality residential projects with a pipeline of future work already secured in the region.
The Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all site operations ensuring that homes are built to the highest standards, on time and within budget. You ll manage subcontractors, coordinate materials and trades, and maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead site operations from groundworks to handover
Manage build programmes, quality standards, and budgets
Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Liaise with clients, technical teams, and local authorities
Deliver high-quality homes that reflect attention to detail and craftsmanship
About You:
Proven experience managing new-build housing developments
Strong leadership and communication skills
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Committed to maintaining high construction and safety standards
