National Head of CDM Health and Safety Consultancy Built Environment

Location: Flexible, located within commuting distance of a Monaghans UK office (Sheffield, London, Manchester, Leeds)
Salary: The role will command a highly competitive salary and remuneration package as well as a broad benefits package focused on personal development, wellbeing and community.
Contract: Full time, Permanent, 37.5 hour working week; Monday to Friday

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive National Head of CDM Health and Safety Consultancy to lead our teams providing CDM Consultancy, Principal Designer and associated Health and Safety Consultancy services.

An understanding of the Building Safety Act and the provision of Building Regulations Principal Designer services will be beneficial.

This strategic role will oversee our technical service offering, development of new services, key Client management, and Business Development and new Client onboarding.

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Professional qualifications relevant to the built environment (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, Chartered IOSH, CIOB, ICE, RICS, architectural or engineering degree).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, the Building Safety Act 2022, and their practical application to residential, commercial, and public sector projects, including within higher risk buildings.
  • Proven senior level experience in a CDM or health & safety leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, design coordination, and lifecycle risk management.
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.
