Job Title: Asset Surveyor

Location: Home based with regular travel to Magna Sites required.

Salary: Up to £41,592 per annum plus benefits (DOE)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent - 37 Hours per week (Mon - Fri with Flexitime)

What you take care of:

Are you a Surveyor seeking your next opportunity? This pivotal role at Magna involves supporting the development of survey programmes, interpreting and analysing property data to develop major and cyclical maintenance programmes, ensuring stock is maintained to the required regulatory and statutory standards. You will be a crucial part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to uphold best practices that support Magna's mission of delivering outstanding homes.

  • Your responsibilities will involve surveying our homes in connection with future planned, cyclical works and response repairs, delivering service in a modern and efficient way to meet our customer's needs, while ensuring they meet the highest standards and achieve optimal levels of satisfaction.
  • You will become part of a team responsible for delivering capital and revenue works programmes, stock condition surveys and response repairs inspections. These activities encompass collecting information on Asbestos, Energy Performance, Legionella, Housing Health and Safety Rating Systems, as well as detailed building component data. You will also assist in analysing this information to support future investment planning. A full role profile is attached to this advert.

What you need to be successful:

  • A comprehensive knowledge of the development of survey programmes, enabling you to assist with the interpretation and analysis of property data. This expertise will support the creation of major and cyclical maintenance programmes, ensuring that stock is maintained to meet required regulatory and statutory standards.
  • The capacity to engage with all sectors of the business through a 'one team' approach, fostering and sustaining relationships with our customers and colleagues.
  • You will have excellent customer facing skills with great technical knowledge.

Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence is required. The post is subject to a basic level DBS check. (Disclosure and Barring Service) Applicants with transferable qualities are encouraged to apply.
