£300 £400 per day DOE ASAPStart 3-Month Initial Contract (Likely Extension)

We are working with a leading Tier 1 fit out contractor delivering a high-profile £6MN commercial office scheme in the City and require a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial function on live works.

This role will be focused on managing change, ensuring robust commercial governance, and supporting the project team on fast-moving packages in a live environment. The ideal candidate will be confident operating autonomously and used to the pace and expectations of a top-tier delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing variations and change control across M&E and build packages
• Cost reporting, forecasting and commercial tracking
• Subcontractor management, applications and valuations
• Commercial support to project and delivery teams
• Preparation towards final accounts

What We re Looking For

• Proven experience in Cat A / Cat B commercial fit out
• Background with a Tier 1 contractor or leading fit out specialist
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage change effectively
• Able to integrate quickly into a live team and hit the ground running
• Available to start at short notice

• £300 £400 per day (experience dependent)
• 3-month initial term with continuation likely beyond this phase
