Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Duties

• Lead the planning and implementation of mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, and detailed work plans while involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and construction personnel.
• Utilise Primavera P6 for project scheduling and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular meetings to review project status, address challenges, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare reports on project performance metrics for management review.

Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for effective project scheduling and management.
• Familiarity with 3D software for design-related tasks is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
