Predominantly the role is electrical based, but candidate should be able to show understanding of full MEP systems. The successful candidate would need to be able to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met without compromise on quality, able to work on own initiative, self-motivated and be a good team player who can communicate with colleagues and management at all levels. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of successful tenders on data centres, comms rooms or similar projects involving critical infrastructure. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience in a building services estimating position. Must have full clean UK driving licence. SC clearance would be beneficial but not a necessity.

The Role Working closely with the senior management and operational teams, you will be responsible for producing accurate and commercially competitive estimates for mechanical building services projects. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications Producing detailed mechanical estimates and cost plans Undertaking material and labour take-offs Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations Identifying potential commercial and technical risks Preparing tender submissions and supporting documentation Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors Attending tender review and handover meetings Working with the delivery team to ensure a smooth transition from tender stage into construction Maintaining accurate records of pricing information and tender activity The Candidate We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator with a strong background in the building services sector.
