An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading MEP contractor delivering a flagship project in London Bridge.
You ll take full ownership of a £30M mechanical package, managing design completion, coordination, and system integration from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence and project performance.

The Role:
As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you ll play a pivotal role in delivering a major mechanical package on a landmark project in the heart of London. You ll oversee coordination between design, construction, and commissioning teams ensuring safety, quality, and sustainability remain central to project delivery.
This position offers the opportunity to work on one of London s most exciting developments while contributing to innovative, large-scale building services solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate mechanical works and MEP design activities
- Manage subcontractor and supplier interfaces across all project stages
- Drive safety, quality, and sustainability throughout delivery
- Integrate modern methods of construction (MMC) and digital tools to improve efficiency
- Support the project management team in achieving programme and budget targets
Requirements:
- Proven background in mechanical engineering and system commissioning
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and programme control
- Experience in commercial management and procurement
- Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
- Relevant technical qualifications (BTEC/HNC/Degree)
- Valid CSCS and SMSTS certifications preferred
