An exciting opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator with some previous Lettings industry experience, to join a respected independent estate agency in Deal: focusing on delivering excellent service and helping to grow the lettings portfolio.
Our client, a respected independent Sales and Lettings agency based in Deal, Kent is seeking a motivated and professional Lettings Negotiator to join their successful team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in providing first-class customer service to landlords and tenants.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Registering new applicants and matching them with suitable rental properties
- Conducting viewings and following up with applicants to secure tenancies
- Negotiating tenancy terms between landlords and tenants
- Preparing and processing tenancy paperwork
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure a smooth lettings process
- Supporting the wider team with office and marketing activities
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to lettings legislation
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
- Previous experience as a Lettings Negotiator (essential)
- Sound understanding of current lettings legislation
- ARLA qualification beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident, proactive, and professional manner
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Knowledge of the local area advantageous
- Full UK driving licence and own car essential
