3D Personnel is working with a well-established and forward-thinking building services contractor seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team. Role Summary:
The Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects. Working closely with project teams and clients, the successful candidate will ensure cost-effective delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and valuations.
- Conducting detailed cost analysis and risk assessments.
- Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
- Monitoring project progress and producing accurate financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve commercial issues.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor in building services or construction.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software
