Job Profile - Principal Designer (Building Regulations & CDM) - EJ45485 Location: Stockport, Cheshire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + Excellent Benefits Package Our client, a well-established and highly regarded Architectural Practice, is seeking an experienced and motivated Principal Designer to join their Senior team, with responsibility for Building Regulations and CDM Principal Designer duties. This is a key strategic appointment within the Practice and offers the opportunity to play a leading role in discharging statutory Principal Designer duties under both CDM Regulations and the Building Safety Act, with scope to progress to Associate or Director level. Associate Building Regulation Principal Designer A long established, London based Building Consultancy, are now seeking an Associate Building Regulation Principal Designer to be involved in variety of projects in the heart of London. Due to their vast Architectural service being led internally within the consultancy, they have been incredibly successful in their external ventures into a Building Regulations Principal Design, commercially speaking. This allows them to pay above market rate for their Building Regulation Principal Designers. They are seeking someone who has an Architectural or Building Control background, who has a demonstratable ability to ensure Building Regulation compliance. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience delivering multi-storey residential developments and a strong working knowledge of the Building Safety Act (BSA) , particularly its gateway process, duty holder roles, and safety case requirements. In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Secondary Legislation 2023, and related Gateway processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide multidisciplinary teams. Job Title: Principal Building Surveyor Contract: 6-months minimum Location: East Midlands, Hybrid Day Rate: TBC Spencer Clarke Group are looking to appoint an experienced Principal Building Surveyor to join a well established property and asset management function, delivering surveying, maintenance and capital works across a diverse non residential and mixed use estate. This is a senior technical role suited to a Chartered Surveyor who can lead on condition surveys, statutory compliance and project delivery, while providing trusted professional advice to internal stakeholders. You will take responsibility for the inspection, maintenance and improvement of buildings, managing projects from feasibility through to completion. The role combines hands on technical surveying with project leadership, contractor management and statutory compliance.
