Job Title: Site Manager

Location: West Yorkshire

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday - Friday

Primary Industry: Construction - New Build Housing

Salary: £65,000 - £72,000 Per annum

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, NVQ Level 6, Scaffold, Temporary works, Driving Licence

Job Duties:
  • Manage and oversee all on-site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Monitor and control project budgets and schedules
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
  • Responsible for quality control and assurance
Required Qualifications:
  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS certification
  • First Aid certification
  • NVQ Level 6
  • Scaffold certification
  • Temporary works certification
  • Valid Driving Licence
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of traditional or timber frame new build housing
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of construction processes and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional health and safety certifications
  • Project management qualifications
Working Conditions:

The role involves working on construction sites, which may require outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions. Travel to different project locations may be necessary.
