Job Duties:

• Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site construction activities
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople
• Monitor progress and quality of work on site
• Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction
• Maintain accurate records of construction activities
• Communicate effectively with the Site Manager, contractors, and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Valid SMSTS certification
• CSCS card
• First Aid certification
• Valid Driving Licence

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing sites.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of new build housing construction
• Knowledge of timber or traditional construction methods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

Working Conditions:

Work on construction sites, exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
