Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a long-established, multidisciplinary construction and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and public sectors.

My client are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor on an ongoing freelance basis to work out of their office in Sititngbourne on a refurbishment framework for a major bank. Project Values £150k - £1.5m with multiple concurrent projects across Kent.

Candidates will ideally have experience in fast track refurbishment projects and a good understanding of cost management.

The Role

• Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and valuations.
• Measure works and produce accurate bills of quantities.
• Review and negotiate subcontractor quotations and contracts.
• Monitor project costs against budgets, identifying and reporting variances.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
• Support project teams with commercial advice throughout each phase.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and industry standards.

Rate

• £280 - £300pd
