Right to Buy OfficerTemporary - 12 MonthsFull TimeLocation: Wigan / HybridThe RoleAs a Right to Buy Officer, you'll play a vital role in managing Right to Buy and leasehold matters, ensuring legal compliance and high-quality customer service. You will be the key point of contact for tenants and leaseholders, guiding them through the process and helping them understand their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Act as the lead contact for all Right to Buy and leasehold enquiries
- Provide clear and accurate guidance to customers on their rights and obligations
- Manage shared ownership sales, staircasing, and resales
- Ensure accurate calculation and validation of service charges
- Support the collection and monitoring of service charges
- Coordinate meetings related to leasehold matters and service charges
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislation and council procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
The CandidateWe're looking for someone with:
- Experience in leasehold management and/or Right to Buy processes
- Strong understanding of leasehold and Right to Buy legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in administrative and IT systems
- A proactive, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to travel across Wigan Borough if required
The Contract - A flexible, hybrid working model - 2 days per week in office
- Temporary - 12 month initial contract with potential for extension
- The pay range for the role is £27.00 to £30.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £23.02 to £25.58 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
