Estimator

Location: Glasgow
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

We re working with a well-established building services contractor seeking an Estimator to join their team and take ownership of estimating for internal and fabric works.

About the Role:

This is a varied and rewarding role focused on pricing internal refurbishment and fabric projects, including:

  • Joinery, painting, plastering, and general building works

  • Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and small-scale refurbishments

  • Producing detailed estimates built from first principles

  • Working with direct labour teams to ensure accurate costings

  • Supporting the operational team with realistic, well-structured pricing

You ll play a key role in ensuring projects are costed accurately and competitively, supporting the continued growth of the business.

About You:
  • Proven experience in fabric or general building estimating

  • Strong ability to price works from first principles labour, materials, and productivity rates

  • Good understanding of trades such as joinery, plastering, and painting

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously
