Quantity Surveyor- Drylining

Our client, a growing drylining contractor with a stong order book ,and is looking to add an experienced Drylining Quantity Surveyor to their team. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong candidate with proven experience in drylining, ceilings, and related fit-out works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for drylining and ceiling projects.

• Measure, price, and value variations on-site accurately.

• Produce detailed cost reports and monitor project budgets.

• Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors, and the project team to resolve commercial issues.

• Assist in contract administration, including valuations, interim applications, and final account settlements.

• Support project delivery through proactive risk and cost management.

Requirements:

• Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within drylining and ceilings, preferably from a Trade Drylining Contractor, main contractor or fit-out company

• Strong knowledge of construction measurement, pricing, and commercial procedures.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying preferred (not essential if strong experience).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry-standard software.
