Job Description

We are looking for a Site Lead for a job that will start in Wrexham. After around 3 months when the lead duties are complete, you will then be based here in Grimsby.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pipefitting Supervisor to oversee operations at our project site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to supervise a team effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety on site.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the job is ready for the labour to start, duties will also include:
  • Attending weekly meetings with management
  • Daily communication with the client with visual updates / sketches of work completed
  • Setting clear instructions for the site labour
  • Supervise and manage daily operations on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the site to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Implement training programmes for new staff members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food factory industry is essential.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the site environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, providing motivation and support as needed.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution in a fast-paced environment.
