MERITUS are excited to be working with expanding Manufacturing business within the Space sector that's looking for a Junior Project Manager to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail who's ready to take the next step in their project management career. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of customer projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
You'll work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, giving you broad exposure across all areas of the project lifecycle - ideal for someone eager to learn and progress within a fast-paced technical environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the management of customer projects from quotation through to completion and delivery.
- Help develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring deadlines and key milestones are achieved.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to gather information, resolve issues, and keep projects on track.
- Prepare reports, quotations, and other project documentation as required.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience in a project coordination or junior project management role within engineering or manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external clients.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Confident using IT systems, spreadsheets, and project tracking tools.
