Environmental Advisor

Boyd Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering contractor who are seeking a dedicated Environmental Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to work across projects throughout Scotland, with the first project being based in Sanquhar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on environmental compliance and best practices to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company environmental policies and procedures.
• Monitor environmental performance and compile reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the organisation s health, safety, environment, and quality (HSE / SHEQ) frameworks.
• Engage with internal teams and stakeholders to promote environmental awareness and training.

• Proven experience in HSE / SHEQ-related roles, preferably within similar industries.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance standards in the UK.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across departments.
• Ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and recommend improvement actions.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on regulatory compliance and environmental sustainability.
