Site Manager

We are seeking a Site Manager / Supervisor to oversee fire door projects across social housing schemes within a 40-mile radius of Chippenham. This role is ideal for someone with a carpentry background who has gained supervisory experience and is now looking to step up into a more senior management role.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee a small team of operatives delivering fire door installation and remedial works.

• Ensure works are carried out to relevant standards and regulations, with a strong focus on compliance and quality.

• Conduct toolbox talks, RAMS, and site inspections to maintain health & safety standards.

• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and residents to deliver projects smoothly and on schedule.

• Provide technical input and guidance to operatives, particularly on carpentry and fire door compliance.

Requirements:

• Strong carpentry background with hands-on fire door experience.

• Proven supervisory experience within construction, housing, or passive fire protection.

• SSSTS / SMSTS & First Aid (or willingness to obtain/renew).

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within 40 miles of Chippenham.

• Ambition to progress into a Site Manager role with further training and development provided.
