Looking for a new challenge to deliver one of the most prestigious projects in the South West? RGB Recruitment Ltd are excited to be partnering with one of the UK's leading building services providers. Having won the MEP package on a highly anticipated, large scale construction scheme, the company are looking to appoint a high calibre, experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead the team on this complex project which will be on site until 2028. Initially based from their Exeter office working on the pre-construction phase of the project which has a total contract value of over £150m, you will be developing brief, programme and cost plans with the project team before mobilising to the site, which you will oversee and successfully deliver. Duties will include: Project managing the mechanical aspects of the scheme to timelines and budgets Ensuring high levels of quality and health & safety Produce detailed plans, programmes and schedules Ensure all documentation is meticulously recorded and maintained including contracts, changes and progress reports Sourcing, managing and developing a high performing team Liaising with client as their first point of contact, building a strong working relationship and ensuring excellent levels of client care and satisfaction To work on this state of the art facility and lead a team in this dynamic and fast paced environment, you will need to be a highly experienced Mechanical Contracts or Project Manager to real drive to suceed. You should hold: Previous management experience in an MEP contracting environment A proven track record in delivering complex, multi million pound construction schemes Hold min NVQ 3 in Mechanical engineering Have strong technical knowledge and qualifications in HVAC and commercial systems Site and H & S certificates including CSCS and SMSTS Working knowledge of NEC forms of contracts Supported by a fantastic team and rewarded by a leading employer, this is a super opportunity that will leave a lasting legacy for the local community the development will serve in Plymouth.
