Finishing Foreman

Job Opportunity: Finishing Foreman Housing Site, Aygarth

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join our team on a housing development site in Aygarth. This is a freelance position running until approximately Christmas, offering the chance to lead and oversee high-quality finishing work in a dynamic residential project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate finishing trades on-site, ensuring work meets project standards and deadlines.

• Manage workflow, schedules, and materials for painting, plastering, flooring, and other finishing tasks.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations on-site.

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and site management to keep the project on track.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential housing projects.

• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

• Excellent knowledge of finishing trades (plastering, painting, flooring, carpentry, etc.).

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.

Contract Details:

• Freelance, fixed-term until around Christmas.

• Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience).

• Location: Aygarth (onsite).
