Site Engineer

Contract Scotland is supporting one of Scotland s leading civil engineering contractors in their search for an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join a substation civils extension project in South Ayrshire.

• Setting out for concrete structures, roads, drainage, ducting, and associated civil works

• Working from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate delivery

• Coordinating with site teams and subcontractors to maintain progress and quality

• Ensuring safety standards are met at all times

• Proven experience in civil engineering (substation or similar environment preferred)

• Strong setting out skills using GPS/total station equipment

• CSCS card

• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

• Long-term freelance contract (approx. 30 weeks)

• Accommodation provided locally if required

• Competitive day rate (CIS, Limited Company ot PAYE options)

• Opportunity to work with a highly regarded main contractor
