Job Description

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a seasoned Project Director, to join a leading construction and engineering firm, on a contract basis, outside IR35. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis, 3-4 days a week,from our client's office and/or site, across the south of the UK. Within this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a variety of large-scale, complex Water and Water Treatment projects. £100M + values.

-Competitive day rate of £600-£850 (depending on experience).

-Hybrid working arrangements (3-4 days per week on-site or in the office).

Responsibilities:

-Manage and oversee the development and implementation of large-scale Water and Water Treatment projects, from concept to completion.

-Coordinate and process project timelines, budgets, and risks, whilst ensuring that all works align with high quality and environmental principles.

-Build and maintain rapport with clients and other specialist professionals, allowing for seamless project integration.

-Monitor and oversee the design, construction, commissioning, and handover stages, ensuring that health and safety and technical standards and procedures are followed.

-Direct and mentor project teams, promoting clear and effective communication, performance, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

-Nurture innovation, sustainability, and ongoing improvement across the project's development.

Requirements:

-Extensive experience as a Project Director managing complex, large-scale & High Value Water and Water Treatment projects.

-Strong understanding of construction management, CDM regulations, and commercial procedures, and contract frameworks and collaborative delivery models.

-Effective leadership and management skills, with an impressive portfolio of developing teams to ensure high quality performance.

-Bachelor's degree, HNC, or HND in Engineering or Construction, or a relevant discipline, whilst NEC PM accreditation and a APM qualification is ideal.

-Solid stakeholder management skills, with an understanding of handling clients, regulatory bodies, and partners, with a problem-solving mindset.
