About the role
Booker Group are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to work in our head office in Wellingborough. In this varied and interesting role, you will work within a small and friendly team to support the business.
You will be working in the Post Room where all postal duties will need to be covered, as well as goods-in, picking and packing of orders for our Branches, PC skills will be essential for these duties. You will be required to carry out minor maintenance of the office building and site, including Health and Safety checks, collection of items for recycling, and office furniture moves. Upkeep of the site gardens, including but not limited to hedge cutting, mowing and planting will also be part of your role.
This role is a physical role which involves being on your feet most of the day coupled with heavy lifting, so you need to be physically fit with the ability to get stuck into any task required.
Weekly working hours are 38 per week Monday to Friday with half an hour unpaid lunch break each day. Hours to be confirmed but will be within our open hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, flexibility is essential, we are a small team and all shifts must be covered
