Contract Construction Civil Engineer Project Manager Management

Job Description

This isn t your standard Site Agent role.

This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a range of projects from the very earliest stages (ECI), ensuring each site is fully prepared for construction.

As a Site Agent, you ll lead day-to-day operations during the early phases coordinating subcontractors, supervising site teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and programme performance from the outset.

You will need to travel across multiple sites, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

About the Role

In this role, you ll be responsible for planning and managing pre-construction activities across several sites, before moving into the delivery phase on assigned locations.

You ll coordinate:

  • Site surveys

  • Access arrangements

  • Temporary works

  • Management plans

  • Early enabling works

You ll also work closely with Project Managers and Engineering teams to maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications.

What We re Looking For

We re seeking a Site Agent with experience in civil engineering ideally within water or utilities projects.

You should have:

  • An HNC or higher in Civil Engineering

  • SMSTS and a valid CSCS card

  • Proven experience managing site activities from planning through delivery

  • Strong working knowledge of CDM regulations, RAMS, and temporary works

Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills are a must, along with the flexibility to work across multiple locations as needed.
