Site Engineer

Contract Scotland are working closely with a respected civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Freelance Site Engineer for a 6-month contract on a major renewable energy project.
Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for access tracks, crane pads, and turbine bases

• Assisting with QA documentation and site records

• Working closely with site and project management to ensure accurate delivery

• Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring work is completed to specification

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

• Proficient with GPS and total station equipment

• CSCS card essential

• Reliable, self-sufficient, and able to work independently in a rural setting

Desirable:

• Experience on renewable energy or wind farm projects

• Familiarity with drone operation for surveying and progress capture (not essential but beneficial)
