Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity? A well-established building contractor based in Ipswich is seeking a talented individual to join their team. The successful candidate will be based out of their Head Office in Ipswich.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the commercial and financial management of construction projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
• Procure subcontractor packages and materials, ensuring best value for the company.
• Provide accurate cost advice and commercial support to the project team.
• Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field.
• 5 years expereince in a similar role.
• Commercial build experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in IT and industry-specific software.
• Chartered status (MRICS) desirable but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 65,000.00- 75,000.00 per year
