With a strong pipeline of projects and long-term clients, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of groundworks packages, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual obligations. • Preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts.

  • Managing variations, change orders, and compensation events.

  • Ensuring compliance with NEC/JCT/ICE contract frameworks.

  • Attending site progress meetings and liaising with site teams.

  • Supporting senior management with commercial strategy and cost planning.

The Candidate
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the groundworks sector.

  • Strong knowledge of S278 works, drainage, foundations, and RC packages.

  • Familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Degree/HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in relevant software (Excel, measurement packages, etc.).

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and package.
