Estimator - Drylining Subcontractor We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Estimator to join our growing drylining subcontracting business. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tender packages, preparing accurate estimates and quotations, obtaining material and labour costs, completing take-offs, and submitting competitive tenders . Key Responsibilities Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents Completing detailed material and labour take-offs Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations Obtaining and comparing supplier/subcontractor quotations Identifying project risks, exclusions and opportunities Liaising with clients, main contractors, suppliers and internal teams Managing multiple tenders and meeting submission deadlines Supporting the commercial team with handovers and project information About You Previous estimating experience within drylining, ceilings, partitions or the wider construction industry Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications Strong knowledge of labour, material and subcontractor costs Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness Confident using Excel and estimating software Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Location: Bansley Hours: 40 Salary: 60,000 to 65,000 This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing drylining subcontractor with a strong pipeline of work.
